Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to the genfit mobile application (the "App") provided by Gen Health ("we", "us").

By signing in or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The service

genfit helps gym members log workouts and meals, follow training and nutrition plans, and review their fitness and recovery history. The App is a fitness tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or training advice.

The App and every digital feature in it are free. There are no in‑app purchases, subscriptions, premium features, or paid digital content. A gym may separately charge for real‑world membership, facilities, or in‑person services; those charges do not purchase or unlock anything in the App.

The App can read and write Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android) data, use the camera to scan meals and gym check-in codes, use your photo library for your profile picture, and send you notifications for rest timers and workout reminders. Each of these is optional and asks for your permission first. The App does not access your location, contacts, or microphone.

Health information is not medical advice

The Readiness, Sleep, and Body Clock scores, and any coaching, workout plans, or meal plans the App generates, are self-tracking signals and general fitness guidance. They are not medical advice, and genfit is not a medical device. Do not use them to diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition. Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing a training or nutrition programme, and seek medical help if you feel unwell.

Workout and meal plans may be generated using AI, which can be wrong. Use your own judgement, particularly on loads, and stop if something hurts.

Accounts

• Accounts are provisioned by your gym or our team. You sign in with the email and password supplied to you.
• Your gym or our team may set your initial fitness goal, activity level, weight, and height when provisioning the account. You can edit these fields in the App.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You must provide accurate information and notify your gym if your email changes.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the App. Account deletion also removes the associated fitness profile, workouts, and meals as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another person's account or our systems without permission
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the App or its backends
• Upload false, misleading, or harmful content

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if your gym ends access to your gym-provided account.

Your content

Your fitness profile and the workout and meal entries you create are your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content only to operate the App for you and your gym.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT WORKOUT OR NUTRITION INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR HEALTH NEEDS.

ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL BEFORE STARTING OR CHANGING AN EXERCISE OR DIET PROGRAM.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Gen Health WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $0 IF THE APP IS PROVIDED FREE).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Third‑party services

The App uses Google Firebase for authentication and Cloud Firestore data storage. Your use of the App is also subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Changes

We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Gen Health is established, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
